“Taiko Night” is one of the regular classes at the Dojo, consisting of adults of all ages and of varying levels of experience: from people who studied & played taiko in Japan to people who had only taken part in a few weekend workshops prior to joining. The main teacher of the group is Teresa Brookes from Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers.
In addition to improving their taiko playing, the aim of the group is to enjoy playing taiko! “Taiko Night” also participate in the yearly Dojo Showcase Concerts, as well as other occasional local performances.
Players are especially invited to join Taiko Night after the Project Taiko course, or after participating in one of our weekend workshops. Places are limited.
